On October 30th 2024, Shi Hui, Senior Director of UCSI University China Office, and Ma Zhimin, Head of North China Region UCSI, visited the Tianjin University of Science and Technology (TUST). Representatives of TUST, from International Exchange Office, School of Electronic Information and Automation, School of Mechanical Engineering, and School of Artificial Intelligence participated in this meeting. The meeting was chaired by Chan Jing, Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Electronic Information and Automation, which the topic was about the following cooperation and development between both universities. Mao Wenjuan, Director of the International Exchange Office TUST, warmly welcomed the visitors on behalf of our university and introduced the development and international cooperation of TUST. She pointed out that TUST always committed to an international perspective of education and cooperation with various universities in different countries and regions, and looking forward to a more diverse cooperation and opportunities with UCSI University. The representative staffs from TUST introduced the profiles and international exchange status of their schools respectively. Shi Hui, representative of UCSI University, expressed gratitude for the warm reception from TUST. He introduced the status, majors, and international exchange of UCSI University, and stated that there will be a further communication and cooperation with TUST. With the guidance and support of International Exchange Office TUST, the staffs from School of Electronic Information and Automation actively implements the university's development scheme, the Pioneer Scheme. From the perspective of international communication, the School was promoting the connection with the UCSI University. In this event, the friendship between the two schools was deepened, laying a solid foundation for the future. More in-depth cooperation is expected, including student training, teacher exchange, scientific research and other fields, which will make positive contributions to China-Malaysia friendship and the "the Belt and Road" initiative. The UCSI University was founded in 1986 and is located in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. UCSI is ranked 265th in the 2025 QS World University Rankings. UCSI offers higher education programs in various courses including Art and Design, Business and Management, Music, Humanities and Social Sciences, Medical and Health Sciences, Engineering, Technology, and Built Environment.
