1. Introduction Electronic information is based on the theories related control, information, and system, utilizing computer, network, communication techniques, sensors/actuators, and control methods to form the info-energy exchange systems. The purpose of this course is to meet and achieve the growing demand for automation and intelligence system in industries, agriculture, military, and other fields. The graduates will potentially engage in the fields of electronics, machinery, metallurgy, chemical engineering, energy, transportation, modern manufacturing, and engineering construction. Specifically, the professionally trained students can be provided to Binhai New District, for the further construction and development. 2. Training Outcomes This course aims to provide professional engineers or managers to enterprises, institutions, engineering design and research departments, especially large and medium-sized enterprises. Graduates of this course will be more competitive in research and application of automatic control technology, development and design of control systems, electronic technology, information and communication technology, artificial intelligence, software system design and development, and other related fields. 3. Course Contents ① Control engineering ② New generation electronic information technology 4. Personal Training Mandatory courses, laboratory research (supervised by personal tutor) and industrial apprenticeship (supervised by industrial tutor). 5. Duration 3 Years to 5 Years Full-time: 1 training year, including mandatory courses and lab induction. 2 research years, including the lab works, research, apprenticeship and thesis writing. Part-time: The study in university shall not be less than 6 months. 6. Apprenticeship 1. The apprenticeship is managed by two mentors (academic mentor and industry mentor). Duration shall not be less than six months (for fresh graduates, not less than one year). Part-time students can conduct practical research in their own work, and conduct case analysis and research on the practical problems in this field. After the apprenticeship is completed, a summary report is required. The report should be over 5000 words and completed within two years of enrollment. |
