It is a multi-discipline course including measurement, control, sensing, metrology, micro-electro-mechanical systems, intelligent structures, signal analysis, and data processing. Modern scientific instruments are a combination of optical, electrical, mechanical, and computer technologies, with extensive applications and employment demands. Sub-disciplines: Measurement Technology and Instruments; Precision Instrument and Machinery; Optoelectronics Technology & Systems 2. Training Outcomes This course aims to provide professionals with high knowledge and ethics to the industry and society, which can potentially work in academic or industrial fields. Course Contents 1) Precision Instrument and Machinery ①Precision measurement and control, and intelligent instrument. ②Modern sensing and testing technologies and systems. 2) Measurement Technology and Instruments ①Information detection and intelligence ②Modern sensing and data fusion ③Digital measurement and photoelectric detection 3) Optoelectronics Technology & Systems ①Modern display technologies ②Optoelectronic detection technology and system 4. Personal Training Mandatory courses and laboratory research (supervised by personal tutor). 5. Duration 3 Years. 1 training year, including mandatory courses and lab induction. 2 research years, including the lab works, research and thesis writing. |
