Introduction: The Communication Engineering of our college focuses on the principles and applications in the field of information transmission and signal processing, especially in communication processes. The communication techniques are developing rapidly, especially in recent years, digital mobile, fiber optic, and Internet network communication enables a super-fast and convenient information transmission. This discipline has broad development prospects but a professional talents shortage. The course aims to educate professional engineers and has provided hundreds of high-quality professionals for our country.  

Training outcomes:

Basic theories of communication principles, technologies, and systems. Information acquisition, processing, and transmission technology. Knowledge of information network communication technology and optical communication technology. System design and application development for signal acquisition, processing, and transmission. The graduates can engage in research, development, design, manufacturing, and application in the fields of communication and related fields

Academic staffs:

Five professors and associate professors, seven people have doctoral degrees, five master's supervisors. Granted four national level scientific research projects, five provincial-level scientific research projects, and other projects. Published over 80 academic papers (including more than 50 SCI/EI indexed papers), one book, and 20 authorized patents.

Student Awards:

In recent years, students in this major have won over 30 awards in various competitions, including the National College Student Electronic Design Competition, the "Challenge Cup" National College Student Competition, the National College Student "NXP" Intelligent Car Competition, the National College Student Robot Competition, and the Tianjin College Student Single Chip Machine Application Design Competition.

Graduate Development:

Graduates can work in research institutes, design institutes, IT companies (Huawei, Cisco, Apple, etc.), and enterprises and institutions (such as China Mobile, Unicom, etc.) related to the communication and electronic information industry, engaging in design, manufacturing, sales, operation and maintenance, management, and teaching jobs.
