Introduction:

The course aims to educate professional engineers and has provided thousands of high-quality professionals for our country. Currently, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation of our college is qualified of degree conferment, Master of Science in “Electric Transmission Control Technology”, which forms an integrated student training system from undergraduates to post-graduates.

Training outcomes:

Basic theories of circuits, power electronics technology, electrical control, power system engineering, etc. Professional knowledge in computer control technology, electrical control technology, power supply and distribution technology, etc. Engineering skills.

Graduates can work in the fields of electrical engineering, including equipment manufacturing, engineering construction, system production operation and management, industrial automation, intelligent control, etc

Academic staffs:

Three professors, five associate professors, five people have doctoral degrees, and nine master’s supervisors. Granted five provincial scientific research projects, and others. Published over 100 academic papers (including more than 40 SCI/EI indexed papers), four books, and ten authorized patents.

Student Awards:

Over the past five years, students of Automation have been awarded with more than 50 awards in various competitions, including the National College Student Electronic Design Competition, the "Challenge Cup" National College Student Competition, the National College Student "NXP" Intelligent Car Competition, the China Robot Competition and RoboCup China Open, and the Tianjin College Student Micro-controller Application Design Competition.

Graduate Development:

Employed by research institutes, design institutes, factories, enterprises, and public institutions related to the power engineering and automation industry and engaged in design, manufacturing, sales, operation and maintenance, management, and teaching work. Pursing a higher degree in domestic and overseas universities or research institutions (Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China, and overseas institutions).
