To give full play to the leading role of Party building, continuously deepen the integration of industry and education and collaborative education, and improve the quality and effectiveness of discipline development and talent cultivation, Zhang Chunyan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin University of Science and Technology, recently led a delegation to visit Unisplendour Cloud Technology Co., Ltd. for exchange, accompanied by leading officials of the College of Electronic Information and Automation and representatives of relevant teachers.

During the visit, Zhang Chunyan and her delegation toured the company’s exhibition hall and digital operations platform, and gained a detailed understanding of the company’s development history, core technology layout, main business segments, market development advantages and its innovative achievements in cloud computing and smart cities.

At the symposium, the university and the enterprise held in-depth exchanges on core areas such as joint talent cultivation, the construction of internship and practical training bases, graduate employment, research project cooperation and faculty exchange and joint development.

Zhang Chunyan highly recognised Unisplendour Cloud’s technical strength, innovation capability and industry influence in the digital information industry, and introduced the university’s educational characteristics, disciplinary layout and talent cultivation model, as well as its achievements in serving regional economic development, transforming research results and supplying talent. She stated that Unisplendour Cloud’s industrial development direction is highly compatible with the university’s disciplines and programmes in microelectronics, artificial intelligence and big data, and that the college–enterprise cooperation enjoys a deep foundation and broad prospects. Taking this visit as an opportunity, the university will build a regular communication and cooperation platform, continue to deepen the development of emerging engineering education, optimise talent cultivation programmes in line with the demands of industrial positions, precisely align the supply of and demand for talent between the university and enterprises, broaden employment channels for graduates, and achieve resource sharing, complementary strengths and mutual benefit.

At the meeting, the leading officials of the College of Electronic Information and Automation gave a detailed introduction to the College’s discipline development, faculty team, research achievements and talent cultivation. The two sides also held in-depth exchanges on the “integration and dual-high” approach to Party building — that is, the deep integration of Party building with the institution’s work and the use of high-quality Party building to lead high-quality development — as well as on the joint development of Party branches, and signed a Party building co-construction agreement on site.

This visit is an important measure for the university to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, deepen the reform of industry–education integration and advance the special action of “visiting enterprises to expand posts and promote employment”.
